At Hybrid Athlete, we believe your fitness is built on three key pillars:

Fitness is not beating your body into submission. It is worshiping your body’s potential and striving to attain its highest expression. This is the holistic and sustainable approach to fitness that we endorse at Hybrid Athlete.

Who Is Behind Hybrid Athlete?

I liked to push my body to perform in many vectors, and I did not want to lock into a single sport or discipline. But no one in their right mind can truly dedicate themselves to all these sports at once.

So, I came to a combination of weightlifting and running, and I realized that that’s what’s it all about – running far and lifting heavy! All while keeping my body in check, injury-free.

Eventually, I would complete races like the Strong Viking 42km marathons in 2018 and 2022, as well as the Mudmasters 42km marathon in 2022. This is also when I realized that pushing your body comes with a price, and plantar fasciitis put me out of action.

My background in neuroscience, physiology and NASM Personal Training helped me dive into the biomechanics of the knees, ankles, and feet. After studying the bones, ligaments, muscles, and nerves in these areas, I realized I was missing the third pillar next to strength and endurance – I was missing injury prevention, aka bulletproofing.

No one should have to suffer through the pain and setbacks of injuries when there are proven ways to prevent them.
