Solo Tib Bar FAQ

You can use the Solo Tib Bar for more than just tib raises. Because it’s a single-leg tib bar, you can securely load the weight on your foot and easily do:

  1. Single-leg tibialis raises (as the default)
  2. Hamstring curls
  3. Hip flexor raises
  4. Ankle rotations

Have a look at our “How to use the Solo Tib Bar” guide and dig deeper into these essential injury-prevention exercises.

Well, as the name suggests, the Solo Tib allows you to tackle the muscles of each of your legs separately. Unilateral work is important to iron out the subtle muscle imbalances. On the other hand (or foot rather), the regular Hybrid Athlete Tib Bar allows you to load more weight on your tibialis anterior muscles.

Here’s a detailed guide on the Tib Bar vs. Solo Tib topic.

They do! Knee issues often originate from underdeveloped ankles, weak/tight hip flexors, or both. Tib raises are one of the best ways to address ankle imbalances and weakness, thus giving your knees the biomechanical support they need.

When it comes to your hips, the Solo Tib Bar also brings hip flexor raises to the table, allowing you to tackle knee issues from above and below.

Again, it depends. Both of these Tibialis Trainers are a great option for tibialis raises. The regular Tib Bar will help you load more weight and work your ankles in sync, while the Solo Tib allows you better control, as well as working out your muscles under different angles.

Ideally, using both of these tibialis trainers in combination is the way to go.

If you are located in the Netherlands, you can expect your Solo Tib Bar to arrive within 1-3 business days. For the rest of the EU, it depends on the location and typically takes 1-14 business days. We work with trusted carriers like PostNL and DPD.
